<p>After being diagnosed with breast cancer, Deborah Hannah underwent a bilateral mastectomy. Some weeks later she experienced a tight and uncomfortable feeling in her arm and immediately feared the onset of lymphoedema, the condition that had caused her beloved grandmother so much discomfort and pain.</p>
