Wound dressings have been created to manage a number of clinical conditions, including cavity wounds and wounds where exudate levels may vary from low levels in a relatively dry wound to highly exuding wounds where there is a genuine risk of damage to the surrounding skin. The evidence included in this supplement highlights some of the key pre-clinical and clinical studies conducted to evaluate the performance of Exufiber and Exufiber Ag+ gelling fibre dressings.
